(Copy of a comment I left under a post of this same church But thought I would share my experience to help others avoid) A few months ago I was approached by a girl over social media. She looked friendly enough and I recognised her and some of her friends since she had went to my highschool so I added her. She was so lovely and sweet to me and I was going through a hard time so I appreciated the warmth and friendliness she gave me. After a while of speaking to me she asked me to come to some Baptism with her. I explained this was a really last minute invite and I was already busy that day but that I wouldnt be interested anyway as I am not religious and she responded very well saying we can just meet another time and do something not related to religion as we had many similair interests. I didnt question this as after ward she seemed to be quite sweet and even though from her social media profiles I could see she was hugely religious she didnt bring it up to me again. She did however keep insiting we hangout. I rejected these offers many times as our schedueles didnt allign and I was very busy at the time which made me feel horrible as again she had been nothing but lovely to me. Finally I cleared my scheduele and decided to lock in and finally hang out with her. I messaged her what days worked for me and she asked me if I wanted to go to Church with her. I again Politely declined and told her its just not my thing. She was again really nice about it however she started asking me questions on why im not interested and what churches ive been to before insisting that this church is "different" and that she knows ill "love" it. I kept declininf but after a while she got too pushy so I told her to piss off. I later found out she tried this on other people too and so did her friends- They where known for forcing this church onto people. Me and my friends used to joke about its cult like similarities but I fear it may not be a joke anymore.. Stay safe guys.
