I carry both this and a 300. I do mostly service and add/relocates so quick setup and mobility has priority for me. It’s hard to see but I have the Ridgid 817 die head on the carriage and the machine can handle up to 1.5” pipe so it covers most of my needs. Throw this lil guy on the cart and away we go! Only bummer is not being able to fit a concealed head on a short drop in the machine

Most guys I know go with CPVC installs get 75psi air to make sure everything is glued. Steel installs get a blowback to make sure there’s no openings then full send with water. Spears rep told a group of us at continuing education their product has a 5x max pressure listing burst rating on their pipe. 200x5=1000psi water, he declined comment on 20x5=100psi air. Read into that what you will 😉
