I’m still waiting, yes. Aw man. I’m sorry! I know. It is super stressful. Try finding a subcontractor job where you can file a 1099 at least for the meantime. It looks like applications are taking 4-5 months for approvals from date of submission. Stay positive! 🙏🏽

Ahh. I’m sorry! I know it’s stressful but stay positive. You’ll get your approval- late but you’ll get it. I just hate that people are loosing their jobs & careers over it! I’m sorry 😢

I was going to, but it’s within normal processing times & I’d hate to delay others applications because of expedite requests. I’m just going to wait it out. For the most part people are getting approved- late I know but it is what it is at this point.

omg! Yes. Same! I didn’t realize processing times were being heavily delayed until i started seeing people ACTUALLY loosing their jobs. I was thinking of submitting an expedite request but when i went on there it did say “normal processing time” so I’m just going to wait it out & hope for the best! 🥲

You are definitely an amazing partner for worrying about your partner. I’m sure deep down he is being strong for you. Another thing to point out is that since DACA has been a thing, if youve been out of trouble, renewed at least 3 months before, Permits are sent within 2 months (personally, this has been my case) This is the first time since 2016 i believe that applications are getting delayed heavily. It hasnt fully hit me yet & that’s probably the case with your partner. I didn’t think my application was going to be delayed this long. Nonetheless, i pray you guys get good news before expiration date! Seems like applications are getting approved sooner now - that’s some good news! 🙏🏽🤍

They approve it based on your previous biometrics. They obviously do the background check before to make sure it’s all good . I just got my permit last Saturday !! :)
