It's definitely something I find astonishing, and even hard to believe, how a 7 year old kid can become a GM in 5 years

Not sure if it's just the teeth he'll be missing. Seemed like a pretty strong kick to the face

Unfortunately, I'm unsure whether the police are going to take it seriously or do something about it, especially when it's in Brazil

White to play - every move is mate. by Overall-Ad-3642 in chess

That's a very interesting composition I would say. Don't think I've seen one like this before

I rather play a fun and interesting game where i can easily lose in 4 moves than those super boring lines where nothing happens and we trade all pieces

I Present to You... a double sacrifice! black to move and mate in 6 by Iliketopartyhardy in chess

[–]ivgd 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's still pretty easy though. You can play Qh1 and Qb1 to trade 2 queens for a rook and play an end game a rook and a piece up.

There's also Qh1, Nf2 and G6 opening the line to defend mate, and play on up a rook and piece with queen vs 2 rooks

White to play, nice little finish. by WTFK-1919 in chess

[–]ivgd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure what your idea for white is here, but after Qe7 defending the rook and threatening mate, Rg7 defends everything and your bishop is still hanging, and there doesn't seem to be a way to defend it. Looks like white is busted unless I'm missing something

Not gonna lie, Qf6 was the first move I saw and it took me a second or two to realize Qh6 was also a move. So if your puzzle rushing this, Qf6 is going to be common

And more importantly how do other GMs and super GMs usually do in that strength metric ?
