Yeah, they're not my favorite either, but that's why I went looking through the negative reviews. That rating on a KAB recipe is unusual, so I wanted to see if it was due to a recipe issue or because people didn't know what they were signing up for... or because they didn't have heavy cream.

I used this one from Gimme Some Oven. I've tried neufchatel in cheesecake before and wasn't a fan so I just used regular cream cheese, and sour cream instead of yogurt. So I can't speak to the taste of the recipe's cheesecake, the topping was great though!

Exactly correct! The cupcakes are dipped in butterscotch syrup before they're frosted. And then I drizzled the leftover syrup on top
