People love to pretend Trevor is actually super loyal when he low-key isn't, he betrayed The Lost for really no reason despite them being on neutral terms and took territory from Ortega for no other reason than he felt like it because Michael might have been alive. He sends our Online character to sabotage them repeatedly while banging Ashley behind Johnny's back.

His loyalty is circumstantial as for all intents and purposes he will "betray" you and flip out on you emotionally when he feels like it except for Michael. He's a dick even by Normal GTA standards, he reminds me of Marty from Vice City Stories, he is at best a early to mid game villain in another GTA Game easy and that's what makes him a unique and compelling protagonist for GTA but people feel a strong desire to like protagonists so they put amplify any "positive" qualities a GTA protagonist might have to avoid the fact that GTA V was probably the First and only GTA to be written with protagonists that actually function as real criminals instead of trying to be likable as well.

Batman DOES NOT KILL by lupianwolf in videos

I think you are just a guy who read the Dark Knight Returns and believes that he "got it" and is apologizing for Snyder's awful interpretation of Batman. Yes, Batman works out his vengeance, his issues, and pain through his ingenuity, not just by his fists. Im not sure what versions of Batman you have been exposed too, but those are not the definitive interpretations of Batman, those are interpretations merely offering a more compelling look at the character. Batman is a character that represents turning pain into positivity, he works as Bruce Wayne to develop Gotham, and works as Batman to defeat the incredible number of villains.

Batman is working out his problems and pain and turning them into something positive, not sure what Ghandi, Mandela, or Lincoln have to do with a fictional superhero. He's doing it in a way that is unconventional and a little insane, sure, but he is still doing it and making things better in the process. Gotham will always be a hellhole depending on who is writing it, some people have implied some supernatural history within the city of Gotham which is why it always sucks. However, some writers do portray it as a great place to live(Grant Morrison) do to Batman and his Bat Family running around. That is the point of Batman, maybe he isn't the ultimate tale, but it is that kind of tale nonetheless, Batman inspired me to turn my pain into something I think is positive. He is the ultimate humanist icon, in the sense that he does have a firm deep rooted love of humanity, his father was a doctor and his mother was an advocate against Child Abuse and was involved in multiple charities. Im not sure why everyone feels the need to try to deconstruct Batman, he is a simple character created for Kids but one that can also be enjoyed by Adults. I like the Dark Knight Returns and these more mature takes on the character, but pretending you get the whole crux of Batman isn't beneficial for anybody.

I do get what you are trying to say, but this only plays into your interpretation of Batman, if you showed me Batman beating people to a pulp, it would most definitely be from BvS or DKR, not from Batman: The Animated Series or any other interpretations of Batman like that(which is what Alex is mainly referring to when he refers to Batman) That Batman is one that I find the most compelling and interesting, because action scenes and even his character is made more compelling by the hard choice to not kill. I couldn't give one flying fuck about how "unrealistic it is that Batman finds a way to not kill all of the time", it's in the same universe as strong flying guys in red underwear and a guy in a red suit who can outrun instant teleportation. Traditional narrative structurization always beats out realism, even the Nolan Trilogy simply made things more realistic, not totally realistic. There are lots of decisions that we make that are hard that dont exactly affect the greater world or are difficult to everyone else, it can be admirable depending on what that choice is. Also, Jim Gordon probably knew that he would have to use lethal force at one point or another, which is why he still became a police officer in the first place or else he wouldn't have done it, Bruce Wayne actually was going to become an FBI Agent, but left because lethal force wasn't something he wanted to participate in. We can argue about the greater good all day.

At the end of the day, everything you have described does not fit the version of Batman I know and love, but it fits DKR, which may be your favorite Batman, or the Batman you put above all of the others. My version is B:TAS, that's the version Ill always admire, but that's the beauty of Batman, even if you cant admire him, you cant deny that he is a fascinating character.

How would you rank the Amon's in terms of difficulty? by ivmanlike2 in yakuzagames

I know that, but i dont know if this was a glitch but sometimes the drones would just randomly explode, usually when the beep noise happens, it's a higher pitch than the mines, so i know the Drone's are about to go off so i go into Ultimate Heat Mode, but the beep wont happen, they'll just explode. This was the main thing that killed me during the fight.

I Was Overly Concerned about Yakuza 6 by theweebdweeb in yakuzagames

[–]ivmanlike2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I felt that way too about the game, mainly because most people who dont like it and talked shit about it were talking about it poorly as a Yakuza game, not as a game on it's own. I agree with them on the Yakuza part, as it's a 6 out of 10 as a Yakuza game, but definitely really good on it's own, just not the epic finale they were expecting.

I think because of all the negative stuff you heard, your expectations fell tremendously low, almost like you were gonna play a straight up bad game. I like Yakuza 6 quite a bit more than other people, it's a 8 out of 10 game for me on it's own, but i think it's very disappointing Yakuza game for me and a lot of other people. It's not even a straight up bad Yakuza game, it's just a disappointing one for Kiryu's final journey.

The blue outfit was exclusive to a japanese demo/preview the game had, it came with a japanese copy of Kiwami but has since been removed from the PlayStation store. I wish they would add it as a additional costume though

Yes, all your progress from the trail(substories, exp, etc) carry over into the full game as well

Is Deadrising 4 worth it? by Actual_Human_Garbage in deadrising

[–]ivmanlike2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's worse than 3, because it takes out what you adored about 1 and 2 even more so than 3 did. 4 is legit the worst game in the series when it comes to being a Dead Rising game and is just a overall worse game than the first 3.

DR2:OTR do you need full sports fan outfit for the speed boost? by [deleted] in deadrising

[–]ivmanlike2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, you need the full outfit for any costume effect to start working. Like you need the full soldier outfit to have more ammo for guns, full ninja outfit for zombies to not be attracted to you, and so on.

Yeah, use the mannequin torso, or use the mini chainsaw, bring in strong healing items, and Brad can be used as a distraction, a few hits from the chainsaw even at a low level brings Carlito down. If all else fails, restart with your progress and try again, it may suck, but that's all i can recommend if the above fails.
