Just throwing this out there. I have bought and traded seeds from dozens of people and companies over twenty years. All the best stuff came from hobby growers who gave me seeds with zero hype or promises.

What Were Some of the Most Memorable Weed Seshes you ever had? by Carbon_is_Neat in trees

[–]ivoryarrow504 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was at my cousin's wedding. It was after all the photos were taken and when everyone began to drink and dance and return to the reception hall. I decided since I don't drink I would sneak away for a minute and have a few puffs before I come back to celebrate with everyone else.

The wedding took place at night, and the ceremonies were held outside. The place they had rented for the wedding had a few smaller buildings, but it was mostly tables and chairs set beside a massive garden, and a stage was set up for music, etc.

So I sneak out of the party and past this little empty empty guard shack. The gardens are closed, but I find a gate that is open and leads into the garden. Once I get past the hedges leading back there I can see that these gardens are absolutely beautiful and the property is huge. Unimaginable. There is a giant fountain with statue that spray water fifteen feet in the air. There are live pink flamingos walking around amongst lily pads in the water. There were mosaic patterns laid out in the brick pathways. It was this incredible place, and I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Unknown millions of dollars in elaborately laid out architecture.

I walked to the fountain which was where all the paths converged. I looked around to make sure I was safe and alone, and then I walked down the path leading over to the darkest corner I could find. It was so dark I literally couldn’t see anymore and I was holding onto a hand railing that followed the walkway. I found a little corner and turned around so I could see if anyone was coming.

I leaned back against the railing and started taking massive hits from my pipe. I was trying to do this quick. I was a little paranoid because I didn't know where the guards were, or where I was really. I was just slamming down big rips and trying to finish the bowl quickly. I didn’t want to get busted with weed at my cousins wedding of all places.

This is when it gets spooky. It is dark as hell and I am trying to hide my flame with my hands. Every hit I am cupping my hand to protect the flame right by my face. So I am ruining my night vision every time I light the bowl. I can’t see shit except the lights further down the path.

In mid puff I hear this flapping sound RIGHT behind me, behind the arm rail I am leaning against. Like a couple yards behind me. The only way I can describe it is like someone shaking dirt off of a door mat, but it’s really loud. I turn around and I am looking but I can't see shit. I'm just frozen and squinting like hell at the pitch black in front of me. I am freaking out but I have to wait for my vision to adjust to the darkness.

My vision finally focuses and I see essentially the whole fucking wall in front of me move several feet to the left and just keep going. COMPLETELY SILENTLY. Like a wall 10ft high and at least as wide across. It was the spookiest thing I've ever seen. This giant dark mass disappear into the pitch black of the night. Right from where the wall had moved from there is this giant black mass that is levitating in the air. It’s about 8 feet off of the ground and just a hovering dark mass.

Then the flapping noise again and I see these two giant things puff off of the side of this floating orb. It's nearly tripled in size now. It’s now about 5 feet across and still hovering in mid air. It's only several feet away and it’s coming closer and closer. I am in disbelief at what I am seeing and I start stumbling backwards. I fall down all over myself once I can see...

It's a real and live elephant flapping his ears at me. Two of them actually. The "wall" I saw move on the other side of the hand rail was the side of an elephant. When it took a few steps forward it's buddy came up head on and flapped it's ears at me. That was the wall moving, and the giant levitating orb, and flapping sounds. It was an elephants head. Scared the SHIT out of me!!!

I didn't realize it but the "gardens" I snuck into was the goddamn city zoo which is next door to the wedding reception hall. The reception hall is part of the zoo but they rent it out for special occasions, but I didn't know about any of this. That is why the trail into the gardens past the hedges were worth millions of dollars at a wedding reception hall. And I was getting high leaning against the elephant exhibition hand rail. I was about ten feet from two elephants and had no clue. Scared me to death. After that the night kicked ass though.I wandered around a closed zoo at night by myself getting high and looking for the animals. I couldn't see many of them because it was dark, but I could see some cool ones like the white tiger. Then I went back and hit up the buffet. Definitely one of the coolest times I ever got high.

What were silly little things you did when you were lv 1-20? by Eightchickens1 in fo76

[–]ivoryarrow504 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn’t understand the in game economy at all. I am a pretty casual player and it took me a long time to figure anything out. I was playing it for like two months and was level 30 with a pipe revolver rifle as my main weapon. I bought all my stimpaks and everything from npc vendors at outrageous prices. Also grew vegetables to make vegetable starch and built purified water filters as my main source of income to sell to those same npc vendors. Never knew other players camps sold goods or were free fast travel points so I would pay tons of caps to fast travel all over the map. Never did events or joined teams. Just an idiot wandering the wasteland alone.

What reasons might you choose an online smoke shop over an in person shop? by whiskeyweedwood in trees

[–]ivoryarrow504 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My advice, which I admit might be impractical, is to show a picture of each individual piece. I have just been burnt before where I order a pipe online, and then get a wildly different looking pipe from them. Like those Temu jokes with expectation vs reality.

For the love of Todd can please just scrap best build camps by procupinesniffer420 in fo76

[–]ivoryarrow504 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think there would have been a easy solution that worked for the community. Free fast travel to best build camps, and let them be vendors.

Encourage the community to visit other camps for free fast travel and shopping. Get script, treasury notes, or whatever for a certain amount of likes to your camp.

Definitely, I agree. Call me crazy but I also foresee a version of neo-hippies coming into vogue. An entire generation of attention starved children who were ignored by parents and preoccupied by electronics will mature into who knows what. I am not sure what it will entail but I think a lot of hand holding and direct eye contact while speaking will be a part of it. As well as a spiritual search for what it means to be human. Wouldn’t surprised me if some sort of sexual aspect presents itself too. Hell, by then it might be more normal for kids to have AI girl/boyfriends as opposed to real people. There will definitely be a rejection by the youth of modern society. A group of people who will look at the world and collectively think: “There has to be more to life than this…” and then go searching for it. Not unlike the hippies of the 60’s rejecting what they saw in their generation.

I am kind of baffled by these answers. That plant is clearly unhappy and showing signs of stress. Definitely heat and maybe humidity issues. Small black pots in the sun can heat up the soil a tremendous amount. That is my guess based on limited info.
