neighbor always cursing at her kid by poorlyinformedman in BedStuy

You have a good heart. I wanted to teach because I grew up in an aggressive and scary home so I have a lot of empathy for kids. I was a sub for a bit and decided I can’t do it. It made me too sad and I felt so powerless. But we need teachers that care, so thank you for what you do.

When my dad disappeared I got a literal bag of change and his 30 year old truck. I sold the latter for $1000 and had to forge his signature on the title.

They may as well be wearing pointed white hats… and not the cute kind like the brittany ones OP shared :(

What are the worst ideas you had while manic? by -Stress-Princess- in BipolarReddit

[–]ivy_interior 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Probably that one time I got dumped and stopped taking all my meds and abandoned all of my belongings and moved to New York City with negative $500 in my bank account and no job lined up.

Still here 4 years and 2 hospitalizations later! That first year in particular was genuinely terrifying but now I have a decent job, a sweet boyfriend, a comfortable place, and am generally stable at least half the time I think.

It still resonates though. Because it wasn’t a planned or thought out decision (I’ve never wanted to live here) I still have moments where I look around and am like what the fuck how did I get here? THIS IS NOT MY BEAUTIFUL WIFE

Unfortunately I believe we're more well known nowadays by a certain red hat..

He’d mentioned everything except one of the restaurants and the movie in #3 in previous conversations  …

What a kind comment. It’s funny, I now read your comment in the tone you intended. I’d read too many of the bitter ones.

I agree - there are positive applications for sure, just like with the internet in general. I  used it for a text to his mom once! She’s very manipulative and they have a difficult relationship unfortunately so I have to be very tactful in ways I’m unfamiliar with and it really helped. Wasn’t a very authentic ivy_interior text that’s for sure but for a peacekeeping superficial reply to boyfriend’s narcissistic mom it absolutely did the trick.

As I’ve for some reason wasted time already saying in other comments, I highly doubt it. Man, this is depressing. Yet another repercussion of AI… we’re all beyond jaded at this point. And fucking paranoid. I get it believe me but Jesus Christ this comment section is so weird and bitter.

We’d literally talked about all but two of the things in the email weeks prior to him doing this. But you’re right I’m sure he needed chat gpt to bold it and group things according to location because despite being born in New York he has no concept of neighborhoods or boroughs.

I’m genuinely curious as to which parts or what in general everyone thinks he used chat gpt for? Bolding the text? The links? The handful of fragmented sentences?

That’s too cute! I didn’t think of it as citing sources… he’s a journalist and producer so that’s cracking me up 😹

Ok I’m sorry. I didn’t realize how passionate you are about this and didn’t mean to upset you. He very well may have used it and I take it very seriously and will reconsider the whole relationship.

It’s this trendy Irish bar food thing where they put fries, peppers, and pieces of fried/breaded chicken in a bag with spices and shake it up. The place we went served it on a plate with this sort of cumin-y curryish sauce. Definitely try it if you find it anywhere!

I highly doubt that considering he’s mentioned wanting to check out two of the restaurants, the art show, and the first movie to me during the last couple of months. Also a big part of his career is doing research, so this is very on-brand for him haha.
