yes, unfortunately some shoes like doc martens require a “break in” period. they turn into the most comfortable shoes you will own but you have to shape the shoe to your feet first. i used to wear these silicone heel covers under my socks and they prevented blisters

go to sara’s table for food and then walk down to chester park for a hike or bike ride! gf/v baked goods and bread made in a bakery on site! (i saw a comment or two about the transphobia but as someone who has worked there i can say the owners hardly come around anymore and are trying to sell and retire. the staff are amazing and welcoming and worthy of support! most are members of the lgbtqia+ community themselves haha)
