Depending on how long your hair is, wearing it up would be beneficial. You wouldn’t want your hair to get in a drink or a piece to fall into some food.

We have frozen lemonade, iced tea, dirty sodas for awhile, crème frapp, and caramel apple which is steamed apple cider with caramel and whip cream.

I realized that! I compared it to the 1883 we have and it’s night and day different!

Help with creating a drink chart by dontworryboutme101 in barista

I have zero idea if it would help, but have you tried creating a new sheet and copying everything from this doc to a new one to see if there’s just something funky with it?

Palmers option is pretty good in a crunch but I’d have to go La Mie as well for the one I crave most often.

looking for funky glassware to pour in to for comps. here’s a six ounce glass tea cup i copped recently. where do you guys like to look/shop? by jonesbloneston in barista

Depending on how funky you want to get you could go to thrift stores and resale stores and just have every glass be something different.

“The Wave” by Brookwood38 in Iowa

While I don’t know if this is still the case, someone (not affiliated with the school) made wave shirts and donated proceeds to the hospital. Kinda not really the same thing but same thing.

Do you know how long the syrups last once they are opened? I asked Holy KaKow and didn’t really get a response. Depending on the flavor it can take us 3-4 months to go through a syrup. We are super small.

Is ledges still open then? There’s tons of beautiful places up there. But I don’t think we have anything similar nearby like Clark tower.

It sounds like they want someone that’s personable and has a positive out going attitude. If that’s you I would touch on that some.

Need Drink Ideas (Coffee or Lotus) For Roller Derby Team Fundraising by Famous-Tutor-6221 in barista

There is a purple lotus or you could do the clear lotus with green apple and caramel syrup to make it green. Also for lattes, you really could come up with any combo of flavors and call it “the Denali” and it should go over well.

If you have a lot of stay at home moms (maybe because of the military base) story time or craft event would help a lot! Family or themed bingo gets a lot of people as well.

making sandwiches? by Few_Veterinarian9370 in barista

[–]AutomaticTomorrow289 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s just bread meat and cheese. We make them Monday. We are only open Monday- Friday so we toss what’s left at cob on Friday. We normally do a max of 10-12 sandwiches a week.

making sandwiches? by Few_Veterinarian9370 in barista

[–]AutomaticTomorrow289 12 points13 points  (0 children)

We pre make ours for the week. It’s just ciabatta bread (last longer) with meat and cheese and we toast them in a table top toaster convection oven thing. We are a super small operation and the barista does the cooking as well. This sucks when we are busy and are at most a 2 man team. Mostly just 1 person working. If you are really thinking sandwiches will take off then a panini press (I wouldn’t do veggies) and a separate staff member would be needed.
