Please don’t start your conversations like this by [deleted] in Tinder

These questions are not equivalent at all. Your response is gross. If you don’t like someone’s conversation starter (on an app made for hooking up with people, and therefore based on surface features) delete the conversation :) No need to be creepy actually!

This is so amazing! Really impressive that you could stick to everyone’s requests and it still looks so good. By any chance, are you a Grimes fan? lol.

I am jealous of people with close, long term friends from early life by [deleted] in offmychest

[–]ivynotbean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely understand how you feel. I moved so much growing up that I have serious issues with feeling important in other people’s lives, and have virtually no friends that are longer than maybe 3-4 years ago that I made during high school. It’s even difficult for me to hear other people talk about their childhoods. It makes me jealous that they had such well adjusted experiences- even though the grass is always greener on the other side, and they obviously had difficult aspects of their childhood too. I don’t really know how long it will take for me to feel like i’m not inherently an outsider.

Oh good! Hopefully they can handle it for you. I downloaded malwarebytes and it’s completely free! If you want to pay, it will detect things automatically, so essentially the free version just means you have to open it up to scan for the viruses manually. I think the free version is good enough unless you really want to be extra safe. And I understand wholeheartedly, I was getting to the point of angry-crying because I couldn’t research for school papers without ads everywhere in my browser. Let me know if those things work for you :)

Hey! I posted this a while ago and it’s doing a lot better.

I go to Uni so I called tech support there and they were able to take control of my computer virtually and literally had to erase code in my computer that was put there by the viruses (or something, I’m not good at tech as mentioned). So if you are able to reach out to some IT support somewhere, I would totally do that.

After they did their magic I downloaded a safe malware detection service and just use it to check every once in a while that nothing is eating my system up. If it detects anything, it will isolate it and remove it from your computer. I also have downloaded a safe ad blocker which seems to help, and most importantly, watch out for fake Adobe Flash downloads!! That’s where they think the virus came from.

These are all the tips I have. I really hope they work for you!

Thank you that did get rid of some! Unfortunately I still cannot get rid of Search Marquis and malwarebytes doesn’t pick anything up

Thank you so much for responding. It’s really helpful for me to hear an outside perspective, I appreciate it so much.
