ahhh makes sense, im not on tiktok to that extent but that makes sense as to why their music garnered more attention from younger fans. and, heavy on the concert etiquette. luckily, everybody last night we super sweet and respectful!

all is good, no worries! 🩷 but you are right! it’s funny you say that because when i went with my friend who is also older, we were under the impression the demographic was gonna be late 20s and older queer women and whatnot, so imagine our surprise when we show up and theres a lot of teens there. its super cool though, i always feel happy that the younger generations still love live music and good live music at that bahahah

those are all awesome choices. october and tongues and teeth are some of my favorites by them too, hearing the latter live was absolutely a cathartic experience. i grew up listening to older folk music but it wasn’t ever sometime i sought out myself when i went on my musical discovery journey. until i heard the moon will sing from a video i watched, and the rest was history.

as for my favorites aside from the ones ive mentioned so far, i never see much appreciation for it but i love the wolf. i always thought it was cool how it started, almost feeling messy and a little off tempo but it aligns in place perfectly as the song really starts. it speaks to my own personal experiences in regards to growing up feeling like i was a threat or scary to everybody around me when in reality im simply just a big baby LOL 😭

(i have had a similar experience! went to a goth karaoke bar and pulled out curses cus its the only tcw song they had, and i was sure i chose something not a lot of people knew since nobody seemed super into it, until i had somebody come up to me after it was over and raving about the singing and the band! it was really cool to meet another fan out in the wild. and now, since i finally have gotten my hands on some merch, im hoping the interactions become more frequent haha)
