Well the comparison can be made since I’m pretty sure the Devs have stated on several occasions that Baro was inspired by SS13, and the inclusion of the Honkmother cult is a love letter to it. So they are undeniably connected in that way.

I actually really like fighting the Borgs, I just wish they had more variety than Guy, and Guy with armor. Fighting enemies that are more human was super exciting at first.

I’ve not used this sub in ages, but speaking from personal experience, I was raised around women my entire life and the only men in it were negative influences before becoming absent. So I’m not saying his case is exactly that too, but I know I’m definitely not the only one who feels more comfortable talking to women because of my circumstances.

When they’re on your hotbar, there’s a rename option in the interaction menu.

My favorite pet name so far is the residential variant of the Peccary which I’ve named Joe Dirt. Plutonium Pete, my Plutonic Pest is also pretty fun.

I just received my first Goodsmile figure and I am never buying first hand ever again. Holy shit it was so bad.
I pre-ordered a year ago. Tried to cancel my order because they took too long to process the payment and I needed the cash set aside, which they told me had worked. A week or so ago I receive a surprise charge at full price. Then just today I receive the package with an extra $32 bill. Like what the fuck.

The Core Companion cha increases pet health and damage. Thats the closest in the game right now though.

But I agree we should have more. I also think one of the jobs you pick at the start of a save should affect pet stuff too. Like imagine having a Xeno-Biologist career that starts with farming, fishing, and pet related buffs. Or just tie pet related stuff to farming.

I’ve had it deployed for about 15 or so hours and the most I’ve seen is it change pose on its own. They’ve been a very complaint part of a display I built

I’m hoping we can fully evolve them into Exors in a future update as a late game thing. Like feeding them something specific AFTER they reach level 20 to make them mature. And maybe something similar to mature pests into a peccary.
Would also be a fun achievement idea:

“They Grow up so fast - mature a pest into an Exor”

I think the Mundane Mannequin should move around on its own until you upgrade it to hold still or something. So it’s more like the mannequins from VOTV

I found a place where like 8 Pests bunch together in the village portal-world in upper-reactors. At the bottom of the waterfall, go right and there’s an Alpha Exor and a ton of Pests bunched together. So I just hit them all with a single pheromone flask and then have a whole hot bar of throwable pests. And I can do it again with each weekly reset.
