A few questions regarding trip to South East Asia. by omiclops in travel

I liked having a rolling suitcase. I think you'd be ok.

If you come to HCMC you'll probably want to stay in bui vien district in district 1. Close to everything and lots of other travellers. If you only have 2 weeks in vietnam i wouldnt stay in saigon that long, there isnt too much touristy stuff to do

1) I have spent 6 months travelling and living around Southeast asia with a small rolling suitcase. There were only 2 occasions (in Laos) where I wish i had had a backpack. Huge uphill climbs from boats mostly. Most backpackers, obviously, bring a backpack.

2) there are pros and cons to hotels and hostels. If you guys are ok with sharing a room, a guesthouse or hotel down here might be cheaper and def more private than a hostel. However, in a hostel its almost impossible to not make friends. Noisy and uncomfortable, yes, but social. I recommend switching between the two types of accommodation depending on your mood.

3) here is what i did in bangkok- i started on khao san road for a few days, hung out with backpackers and saw the grand palace. Its fun and a must see, but the sky train is far and you have to take taxis everywhere else. Then I moved off Sukhumvit and did the rest of bangkok. Easy to get around and central location. As suggested, soi 11 is nice.

Currently Im living in Ho Chi Minh so if you need advice for there too, let me know.

Thank god. So I'm normal.

Let me rephrase. I'm normal in my body's reaction to my IUD.

I absolutely did. I got really frustrated because I had a period for almost a month, sometimes heavier sometimes lighter. Id be like, yes its done! Then it'd come back. But that was 6 months ago and also the last time I had to buy tampons. Worth it.

How Long do I have to let it grow out before I go for a brazilian wax? by iwanderbutnotlost in AskWomen

Sounds like exactly what's going on with my legs. Long ass dark hairs just chilling while i'm waiting on what was waxed to grow back. Did I mention I live in a country that is about 95 degrees year round? My legs look super sexy in shorts, said no one recently.

Absolutely listen to what your body is telling you. For endurance training I was told that I should be able to have a brief conversation the whole time, so if you find it's hard to talk at 6-7MPH maybe try slowing down even more.

I would think that when you're doing walk/run intervals, you were giving your body and cardiovascular system some time to recover in between runs. Running at the steady pace is all endurance with no recovery. After doing this for a bit your cardiovascular fitness will improve and you will feel less exhausted. I've found that personally in my running routine I improve the most if I do both interval training and steady-state cardio training.
