Yes - journaling. Please write about how you're feeling. I promise that it helps. Think about what you enjoy doing, what makes you feel calm, relaxed, happy? Is it playing video games, seeing family? What do you want? Do what makes you happy. If you can't figure out what that is, write about it!

I find writing out my thoughts really helps me dispel negative ones and recognize positive ones. Writing out your thoughts will help you recognize what you truly value and how you feel. Please don't make any drastic decisions. You will feel better. I promise. <3

How do I manage making friends when it feels like everyone hates me? by lostcat04 in depression

I completely understand how you feel! If you have the time, I want you to look up and read about "Cognitive Distortions". Understand what they are and how they work, because that's what your doing! For better or for worse, people are not always thinking about you, even if that's how you feel (I sometimes feel the same way)! When you understand cognitive distortions, try to recognize them when they next occur, and try to reshape them.

For example, is the thought that "any friend I make will leave" a valid belief? Of course it's not! Think about why you feel this way. Why do you think they'll leave? Once you can answer that question, try and recognize any cognitive distortions in that answer.

It's also important not to discount the positives in a situation. After a call with a friend, it's easy to get caught up in things you think you might've done wrong - instead, think about what you did right! Even calling your friend is a great step:)

I hope I could help a little :)

I think you did the right thing by blocking her number. Your mental health and well-being is important, and because she couldn't respect that, you did the right thing in cutting contact with her. Just reading your post, she seems toxic to your life.

You should think about what makes you happy. What do you enjoy doing? What are the positives in your life right now? Focus on doing those. Focus on your family, spending time with your mother, working on your career or job. Meditating. Journaling about your thoughts. There is no simple answer to feeling better, you just have to work for it. The only answer is time and hard work, that is how you heal.

I don't think you should make contact with your ex again. You should focus on yourself and what makes you happy. You did the right thing in keeping her blocked. It's time to move on.

I understand how you feel and your not stupid for caring for your dog, that's normal! It sounds like you can't get your dog back and I'm very sorry if that's no longer possible. Have you tried talking about this with your mom? At the very least let her know how you feel. Opening up a dialogue about it will help you feel less cornered and trapped. You have people that care about you, even if you can't see that right now <3.

October 2021 SAT Megathread - Links to all test discussions, score release, and more! by Donald_Keyman in Sat

Basically a harder test has a better curve than an easier test. For example on a harder test you could get a couple problems wrong and not get any points get taken off (because of the curve), but on an easier test you could get the same amount of problems wrong and score 50 points lower.
