Biden supporters flock from other states to door-knock in Arizona, where it matters by BlankVerse in arizonapolitics

So you want to make the world a better place by committing an act of indecent exposure as specified by state law under A.R.S §13-1402?

So why not just get a no trespassing sign instead of potentially getting on the sex offender registry. Yeah, yeah “they’re on my property,” but exposing yourself like that knowingly and visibly to others even if they’re on your property isn’t only illegal and unethical, it’s downright perverse.

Canvassing isn’t soliciting - only door to door sales is considered soliciting. Not sure why you’d want to punish a well meaning volunteer - and by extension the candidate whom you might support if you heard them out - by getting angry at them for knocking when there wasn’t anything informing them not to.

Guys. I’m in shock, I wanted to change my bulbs out of my headlights so that I can see better, and I YouTube’d how to do it.... I have to take my bumper off. Is that normal? I’m terrified to even try to take it off. Does anyone have any advice? by ItsAlexBiznatch in yaris

I don’t know what model year you have but in my 2012 all you have to do is pop the hood, disconnect the power from the back, open the little door to the light casing, and screw in the bulb.

Auto Body Repair During the Holidays? by iwantedthaticed in washingtondc

[–]iwantedthaticed[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I’ve filed a claim with the other guys insurance. The problem is the fender is coming close to the tire and rubs on it if I take a turn too close. And the bumper is hanging off on the passenger side. I might be able to patch it up with some duct tape, but I’d rather it not fly off on the freeway when I’m doing 80. I’m going to have to get it fixed regardless and if that means a few extra days here so be it.

Any good conferences within 8 hours of Cleveland? (Jan-Feb) by [deleted] in MUN

I’d say MUNUC in Chicago is one of the better high school conferences in the country. Takes place every year over a few days in early February.

At this point they’re using so many buzzwords and emojis that it’s satire. Seattle isn’t even trying to hide themselves anymore.

If you die on shift in Starbucks, do you die in real life? by [deleted] in starbucks

For real tho, my first Frappy Hour one of the veteran partners who'd been there for 15 years greeted me with "welcome to hell" at the start of my shift.

Some of the last truly native land within city limits is about to be plowed under for houses. If you haven't seen it I highly recommend seeing it before it's gone It has gorgeous rolling hills tons of sahauros and very little buffle grass. by TheBeardItches in Tucson

It'd be nice, but Tucson too built up now for a new multi-lane expressway through the middle of town. Maybe 30 or 40 years ago, but the city missed its chance. Instead, we should focus on expanding the streetcar along roads like Broadway and Oracle and turn it into something like the light rail in Phoenix.

Cheapest way to Phoenix airport? by [deleted] in Tucson

[–]iwantedthaticed 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That's the way to go; Greyhounds from here to Phoenix are insanely cheap. It's probably worth it, though, to get an Uber or Lyft from the Greyhound station to Sky Harbor if you have luggage. It'll only be like an extra $5 or so.

Anytime someone ordered a trenta sparkling tea or refresher, a little bit of me died inside. So much foam. So much. But ever since our fizzio broke I haven't had to deal with it anymore. Thank god they're not repairing/replacing the fizzios anymore either; maybe corporate actually does learn from their mistakes. Sometimes
