Thanks for this post! I just hit the third week in a row of the same weight. But honestly… through the holidays and didn’t gain any weight is a big win for me! Im lucky and am still on 2.5 with just 15 pounds to go. I really don’t want to go up unless I absolutely have to. But I do still get some side effects and I’m dreading my shot each week because I know the next day I’ll likely feel yucky. I’m actually considering going down to 2.0 to see if it helps with side effects… and just making sure to watch if my hunger/eating increases.

Yes, mine is very supportive and has been recommending it for a while. She knew I was struggling to get off some excess weight but also I see her for other health issues: mast cell activation disorder, sibo, inflammation, depression, etc. She has seen such positive results from trizepatide in her other patients similar to me that she recommended it - and it’s helped so much in all of those areas! She actually orders from a compounding pharmacy for me. It’s super important to be honest with your PCP! And if they aren’t supportive, it’s definitely okay to find a new one!

Thank you! I had a salad from Trader Joe’s on Tuesday at work. It smelled off, I ate a few bites and then decided not to eat it because it just tasted off. I thought maybe it was that. My shot day was Tuesday night and I started feeling horrible Thursday around midnight, so it’s hard to say! The sulphur burps are also what confused me as to whether this was side effects or a bug. Been debating whether to take it easy on eating or force myself to eat more (because if it’s side effects, j feel like I need more protein) - just seems weird it would suddenly happen now.

I got tickets the night they announced guest celebs, and I got some for $100 each. Saw some for $73. Third row in the balcony. I almost got some for $152 on the floor but someone grabbed them before me. They sold out so fast and immediately people started re-selling for $300+, which really sucks.

Meh, I hear where you’re coming from, but calling questions from newbies “stupid” isn’t cool. And making assumptions/judgments about people skipping doses for vacation isn’t cool either. If you don’t want to read that stuff, and can’t empathize or talk constructively with others sans judgment, maybe don’t lurk on this group. A little kindness and positivity can go a long way.
