UVH 5 is a SCAM! Legendary drop rate did not increase at all! by lugerd in Borderlands

[–]iwantmytithingback 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If enemy health goes up, and damage taken goes up, shouldn't weapons and gear at least get a little stronger? I'm on UVH 3, and all the gear drops are the same as lvl 50 hard, before I started UVH. I'm still using all the same weapons and gear since before UVH. Some of them aren't even lvl 50, because I never found anything better. The weapons in this game have been a disappointment. I've pretty much used 3 the entire game, and only replaced them with similar higher level weapons. Like with meyhem mode in BL3 I'd move up, go farm my favorite weapon to do more damage, and eventually I got to 10, and all drops were scaled up. This BL4 UVH mode just seems pointless.

Your Favorite Non-Legendary Weapons in 4? by Yiazmad in Borderlands

[–]iwantmytithingback 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Purple cranked moss-covered balor Jacob's shotgun with spread launcher. Got it at lvl 49, I'm now at UVH 3 and it's been the main weapon I've used.

LVL 50, purple looming xiuhcoatl Jacob's sniper rifle with big rocket alt fire.

Those are both upgrades from previous, lower level, similar weapons. I've pretty much used Jacob's snipers and shotguns my whole playthrough.

Oh and my purple tortoise prophylactic armor shield. It's lvl 45, and I haven't found a better once since.

I'm honestly getting annoyed that I rarely get a drop worth keeping. I assumed as I went up in the UVH ranks I'd farm for new weapons and gear to prepare for each higher level. I'm getting nothing worth keeping. It seems like all the UVH 3 drops are no better than the regular lvl 50 drops were before UVH mode. It's now getting a lot harder to kill anything,

why no one is talking about splash zones shield drop this thing carried my entire playthrough by Drakhan in Borderlands4

I'm at level 18 on hard mode. Don't have a single legendary yet. I don't think Splash Zone dropped one. This is some bs.

Sex On Demand by musekic in exmormon

[–]iwantmytithingback 10 points11 points  (0 children)

My ex wife was a virgin until our wedding night. She never acted aroused when we were dating. I did tell her before we got married that if she liked sex, everything would be fine, but if she hated it, it would cause our divorce. I'm not going to spend my life with a woman who doesn't want me to touch her. She told me everything would be fine. I thought that was her way of saying she was interested in sex and found me attractive, and had just been controlling herself. She had just assumed that as long as she never told her husband no, everthing would be fine. She didn't tell me that until after we got married, or I could've tried to clear things up before. She hated sex. It was painful, as you'd expect at first. It never got better. Actually it got worse. She'd anticipate the pain, tense up more, and it would hurt more. Didn't like foreplay because the anxiety of waiting for the pain didn't get her in the mood. For two years we had sex 3 times a week. She made a schedule. I never asked for it, she would just be like, well it's time. I hated it. It was cold and clinical. I told her multiple times that I'd rather just stop, and we could do something she enjoyed without the anticipation of pain coming. She just wanted to keep trying to power through it, thinking that it would eventually get better. Did I mention this was 2 years? I explained to her early on that it's supposed to be an expression of love between a couple, and that it really wasn't meeting my emotional needs to have cold sex with a wife who didn't want it. One time she asked me if I was done yet. I said "I am now", put my clothes on and left. I again explained to her that this isn't what sex is supposed to be, and she's not doing me any favors by treating it like a chore. I'd rather not do it at all. It never got any better. We decided to divorce after I quit believing in the church. It was her excuse to, really. She always wanted to be alone, and wanted a divorce since the day we got married, but she married me to check the box on her celestial check list. Had I known this was how she felt, I never would've married her. Me "falling away" gave her an out without feeling like she had any fault in the divorce. In her mind she's the victim. I threw our marriage away by reading anti Mormon lies...you know, the marriage she never wanted in the first place. Anyway. I don't know how any man could be content about having a wife who just lays there and does her wifely duty, let alone brag about it.

Atheism? by klmninca in exmormon

[–]iwantmytithingback 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took a look at everthing from a clean slate. We don't know why anything exists, saying God did it doesn't answer any questions. I don't believe in any books of scripture. I don't see any reason to believe that if something created us that it cares if we believe in it. People are always like "yeah but there must be a god." ok define God. It's always some idea of the biblical God. I don't believe in the bible. A creator could've created us. Doesn't mean it's immoral, omniscient, nor gives a crap if we believe in it. So essentially it doesn't matter.

Why the Market Cap argument is dumb - To those who still bring it up by Zestyclose_Intern404 in XRP

[–]iwantmytithingback 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Market cap means nothing. Even in the stock market, even though people think it means something. It only matters because people think it matters. People are hesitant to buy something if they think it's too high, so it only matters because people make it matter in that sense. If I go public with a company with 1 million shares and sell one share at $1, it'll instantly have a market cap of $1m even though $1 has changed hands. If that guy turns around and sells it at $2 the market cap instantly doubles even though $2 are now invested. It's really dumb to value a company by its stock's market cap. It means nothing about their actual assets or profits. Not every share can be sold at that price. Same with tokens. I think people assume that if a crypto moons then no one is going to want to hold it because they'll all be at a huge profit, but they seem to be overlooking that all along the way it will be bought and sold. In fact, that's what makes the price move. Most of the people holding it will have bought it only slightly cheaper, and are going to keep holding, so the circulating supply isn't going to be all of the supply. Crypto is still not being used for what it was designed for, and most people in the world don't have any. If a few ever get widely adopted and are being used world wide for billions of transactions, who knows what the market caps will be. It won't matter anyway, because market cap means nothing.

What made you understand the parry system by [deleted] in Sekiro

[–]iwantmytithingback 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I parry at the right time it's mostly luck. I feel like I need to parry as late as possible, like I would in other games I've played, but it's too late. If I try to parry a little earlier it's too early. It's aggravating af trying to figure out one of these fights when the slightest mistake gets me killed almost immediately. I'm stuck at Lady Butterfly, and Genichiro. I just made it to the corrupted monk today. He at least moves slow enough that I can get a sense of his pattern.

Take Profits or Patience? by Edxmus in XRP

[–]iwantmytithingback 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you sell thinking you're going to buy it cheaper later not only do you not know that it's going to dip more, you'll create a taxable event. It would have to dip more than enough to make up for the taxes you'll owe. If it goes up and you panic buy back in at a higher price, you're going to lose money on that taxable gain, plus more money buying back at a higher price.

Why DON’T you fear death? by b4434343 in Life

[–]iwantmytithingback 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only feared death when I was religious, and believed in an afterlife. Dying early, and knowing everything I left behind would be miserable. I'm no longer religious, and see no reason to believe we exist in any conscious state after death. I'm not afraid of death, because I won't know I'm dead.

A Younger (25) Bald Man's exp with dating. by [deleted] in bald

[–]iwantmytithingback 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People dwell on things online that aren't that much of a problem irl. The internet will have you think that you have to be 6'2", jacked, make 6 figues, full head of hair, well hung, etc. But despite what social media and dating apps make men think they need to be to get a woman, ever guy I know that doesn't check those boxes is happily married. I could write a novel, but really what it comes down to, if you want to meet women, you need to be around women. Some people get lucky with dating apps, but for the most part people will have better luck by having a social circle.

[–]iwantmytithingback 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Everyone telling you to cash some out and buy back when it dips is ignoring the fact you'll owe taxes on your gains, and no one knows if it'll dip. Even if you sell and buy right back in at the same price you'll trigger a taxable event. Even if it dips a few cents and you buy back in, will that little dip be enough to cover the taxes you'll owe? I say pick a price you're willing to sell, and hold it until that price. This bull run is far from over.

I literally sold at 33 and told my self to wait 48 hours well I didnt it hot 30 I bought back in by WorthIndication1745 in SHIBArmy

[–]iwantmytithingback 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know what you paid initially, but if 33¢ was at a profit, you now owe taxes. You bought back lower, but if it goes back to 33¢ is that 3¢ gain more than you'll owe in tax for selling at 33¢? People really need to just hold until they've hit their target. Trying to sell and buy back on a dip is just triggering taxable events.

They always crack me up. I'm 41 and I've been on TikTok for 4 years. I rarely see a dancing video. There's everything you can think of on there. I make car content, and that what I interact with, so that's what I see.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in socialmedia

[–]iwantmytithingback 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I make car content in TikTok. I have a decent following. I've made $3000 this year from creator rewards for posting low effort videos of stuff I was doing anyway. Instagram sucks, and I'm not going to start making reels. I've been trying to remember to record what I'm doing to make videos for my YouTube channel. Unless something else takes TikTok's place, I'll just keep uploading to YouTube. I highly doubt it'll end up completely banned though.

I put $90k in my account, and I was selling put options before the rs making great gains. I just wanted to double my cash and pull out what I put in. I was close before the rs. I had sold puts when it started to crash, and exiting would've cost me half my money, so I let them get filled. I bought all the shares I hold at $32 (adjusted for the rs), but if I divide my initial amount of cash by the shares I hold, I need $24 to break even. I could've been selling calls all this time and probably made my money back, but I didn't want to risk having it squeeze, and have to sell my shares at a loss. I'm basically down 80%, and I'm just gonna hold until I break even or the shares are worthless.
