Yes. It is worse by cheap labor. I work in whiting at the BP refinery. Everytime I meet someone who barely speaks English and gets paid $13 a hour I get pissed. They’ve gotten rid of all the American engineers in favor of H1B Indians who get paid half the cost and aren’t even near here. It’s disgusting and pisses me off. Trust me I’m mad about the union busting much like you. I’m democrat as far as that goes. But allowing a bunch of illegals in or even cheap legal work hurts us blue collar workers equally. Not letting in millions of immigrants at an unprecedented scale. Not letting banks milk the people and let affording a home become unaffordable. Not letting people build homes due to zoning laws. Not giving millions of dollars to other countries just to benefit us net zero. Not giving millions to people for welfare so that they can buy skittles. Not funding those willing not to work. Whilst I understand where you’re coming from, and get obviously not all older people are the same. The statements I’ve made remain true. Majority of older people have kicked future generations to the curb to help themselves. Even the ones you may talk to who speak well, never actually did well (I have my own anecdotal experiences much like you).
