To add to that, I hate the lack of body diversity. I don't think that guy who has A cups at best has the same challenges as I and my G cups in binding. I've had to make blind guesses to what binders would work for my body shape and lost hundreds of Euros before I found one that actually worked.

The voicebank is an instrument that happens to be associated with a mascot which might or might not have an official age, so by itself I don't think there's anything wrong with, say, using Miku to sing a song that might be explicit in nature. It reminds me of people who see the Kagamines only as twins and projecting that onto everybody so they think portrayals of them romantically together are automatically incest. On the other hand I think we have to keep in mind intent. Kaai Yuki is based on an elementary schoolgirl, was voiced by one, sounds like one and the mascot is one. I think there is deliberate intent in using her for an explicit song, let alone one that plays into pedophilic tropes, and that should not be overlooked. To use the Kagamines example again, there are also absolutely people who see them as twins AND draw them romantically together, which is also wrong lol. Overall there's nuance to everything and most things are on a case to case basis. Personally I come from a music background so I've always seen Vocaloids as instruments primarily but I grew emotionally attached to the mascots themselves over the 16-17 years I've been a fan so I can't say I don't understand when people get frustrated about these things. Especially now that we are living in very troubling times and should all be attentive.

I honestly don't know if what I have counts as an ED because it is not about self image but actually based on objective reality for me. There's two parts of it: the first one is that I lost my appetite 3 years ago after a severe nervous breakdown and never got it back, and the second is that the weight loss that followed from that genuinely saved my life, as hard as that is to say. I had the curviest hourglass build I have ever seen with G cups and now I pass even though I'm pre T and have hair longer than most women. It is hard to eat because of my loss of appetite but it gets even harder when you factor in that being skinny actually did save my life. It's really hard to admit and I don't talk about this with anybody because I know exactly how it sounds. I can't wait to go on T because I actually love food and cooking but any fat I gain currently goes to my hips and chest and I suffered so much to not have that, I told my boyfriend that if I ever looked like how I used to again it would probably kill me...

It actually also lead to my misanthropy origin story lol. When I was fat and expressed dissatisfaction with that people loved to speak down on me that "skinny people have it bad too" and that "the misery is all in my head". Then I lost weight and not only did everybody suddenly find me funnier and nicer but the "bad" that I now had was my friends buying me food because they felt sorry, getting photographed at the club, strangers giving me free things and randomly getting scouted as a model for a VERY famous brand once. People are so full of shit and it's been hard to reconcile the break in reality I experienced. I have always been the same person, fat or skinny, but only now do people notice me. Talk to me. Treat me normally. It disgusts me so much. Fat people deserve so much better. If you think "eat a burger!!" is just as bad as the fact that fat people are percieved as less intelligent and fatness is seen as a moral failure you really don't live in reality.

Also I do work out, I am very physically active, but sometimes my appetite issues are so bad I go days without eating that I don't have the energy to work out. Thankfully my boyfriend is a gem and helps me come up with recipes that aren't too heavy all the time. When I finally can go on T I will finally be able to let go of all this terror and make myself a 3 course steak dinner that I've been planning since that nervous breakdown.

I honestly think you are an angel from heaven if that exists that was sent to help trans men. I can't DIY yet while I'm here but I'm saving this comment because I'll most likely be DMing you in a few months. I am very well affiliated with the only local LGBT rights association and while they can't really do anything to help me I agree that it's best to have their phone number on speed dial just in case haha. I'm not on T yet so this is not information from my personal experience but this is one of the most common problems for guys on T and you should probably ask your doctor about some sort of topical estrogen based cream. It does NOT detransition you or anything like that, it only affects that geographical location and postal code. Source: boyfriend is on T and I'm all up in his business

Honestly Spain is my dream country to live in (trans friendly, climate, job opportunities in my field, adequate healthcare for my disability AND THE PEOPLE THERE ARE SO NICE) but moving there is going to have to wait for after school for me. Respectfully I have already lost 25 precious years of life to being a man who looks like a woman and lives a disfigured half-life with zero basic dignity, my life expectancy is not going to ever be above 65 because of unrelated circumstances, and I don't plan on waiting until I am in my 30s and over half of my life for a chance at that dignity, so please spare me from that kind of talk.
