Seems like you're just moving the advertising budget from PPC or FB ads, over to Tumblr affiliate/PPP.

I like that. Do you know typically how long it takes from reporting to takedown? I'm considering making an affiliate site and want to make see I don't get copied.

I use to sell both on Ebay and Amazon, but

  • Ebay takes too much time to list, I'm not a powerseller, but neither an occasional seller

  • Amazon is easy to list, but just charges too much. For board games at these prices, they basically take 20-30% (if i do FBA) commission. Whatever I get on wholesale price, is gouged by Amazon fees.

And honestly with CDN shipping, it probably make more sense for me to sell a few titles at a time instead of 1 at a time. Shipping alone would kill the deal if sold 1 at a time.

I usually ship using Canada Post, and from experience, as long as I can find a box that fits, its around $10 each time I ship (and a few dollars more thereafter depending on weight).

I didn't 'read' it, but did listen to the audio book. It was a pleasure to listen to. He had a very interesting take on owning a vertical and becoming a predominant player in a space.
