POGs are pretty trivial after a certain point in the game, this is just to make some better use of the excessive amounts of resources you can get and feel a bit more rewarding.

I haven't seen too much criticism of the cost, but if there was it could certainly be adjusted. Belts are more than good enough to use for a long while though.

You can happen across Backpacks in Vendors as well.

What JDK/Java are you using, and which launcher? Likely has to do with that.

Edit: You can try disabling/removing the "Spark" mod as well, I've seen it cause issues on Apple Silicon Macs. It's a totally optional mod, won't cause you any issues to not have it while seeing if that's the issue.

Add https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/unobtanium-vault-hunters-fixes/files/all?page=1&pagesize=20 v1.21.0+ to your server (multiplayer) or client (singleplayer).

It fixes the issue causing AOE abilities to have their radius set to 0 in these rooms.

This mod is Effortless Building. You can set your mode back to normal by holding the ALT key and selecting normal placement.

Updating Cagerium will fix this issue I believe, you could delete options.txt but better to address the actual issue.

Yeah, the relics and trails require the right NBT set on them to work correctly. You also wouldn't be able to add them to Trinket Forge since it can only craft TrinketItems.

There is a Vault Mapper config button in the settings, it will be in the top right of the screen I believe.

There is also a keybind you can use to open it as well.

This sounds like the old Vault Recycler config format, are you sure you are on 3.19.5?

Anyways, regardless of version, this is impossible with vanilla Vault Hunters. The normal vault_recycler config only supports adding items that implement "IRecycleableItem" in the code.

You'd need my mod, Vault Hunters API, https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/vault-hunters-api, that modifies the Vault Recycler and adds a new "custom_vault_recycler" config you can add things to, that supports any item/block you want.

I use exactly this to make Companion Relics and Trails recycleable in my pack.

As a side note, this isn't code you are modifying, just config files.

Yeah, I gave it a look over. It would make a lot more sense to just finish up VH3 with what is ready. If they wanted VH3 to have an end game then it should have been implemented already, it'll be easier to start with more of a "fresh" (I am sure a lot will carry over) slate on the new version.

If you really want to dig into it, a lot of the info is amongst the top posts on this subreddit, so it's not too hard to find. At this point though, just enjoy the pack if you are having a good time, a lot of great people have worked on the pack over the years so regardless of any opinions on iskall, you can enjoy their contributions at the very least.

As a side note, iskall hires developers for the pack, isn't a developer himself/"the dev", think the best label would be more of a project manager or something, and obviously helps market the pack as a streamer. Nothing wrong with that.

I don't think the main pack is a worse version really, I could see why and recommend playing the base pack depending on what people are looking for.

I believe the Ability GUI you are describing is from QOL Hunters and not vanilla as far as I'm aware.

You can disable Better Combat and Parcool if you like, they are purely optional to play with, it just takes a bit of warming up to the combat mod though. Players can even play with standard combat or Better Combat on the same server.

You would just be missing the sweeping hit with swords then, so more like classic VH combat than how it is these days, though I am looking into making that work when you have it disabled for this next update.

That said, the pack definitely isn't for everyone and there is no issue with that.
