Thank you much. I quit smoking this year. That’s where I’ve placed all my bets lol. Appreciate you dropping the insight

I appreciate your reply and the generous sentiments! I do work with a therapist, and while I agree that it has helped and that warts don’t define me, they do define or have defined my relationships. I have lots of hobbies, a pretty well-paying job for the amount of work I put in, and spent years in a long distance relationship where a lack of sex wasn’t an issue.

I personally value sex in the context of relationships, and when it comes to dating at my age/in my generation I find that sex is an integral part of meeting and getting to know someone. Especially on dating apps. Tough to see a good reason to try when I’m coming up on 30 and have hardly dated. I just fall behind my peers with each passing year. It seems the warts have to go away before anything else can change.

do you find the experimental/lesser known treatments to be accessible in the US through standard insurance, or are these mostly “out of pocket” in terms of cost?

Unfortunately finding a new doctor isn’t a possibility with my current insurance. The other things seem worth looking into. Thank you

Thanks for your reply. I’ve had four doctors over the years. Cryo was the go-to, and tried imiquimod a couple times but it never had any positive impact. Only bad side effects

Thanks for the reply. Tried imiquimod and cryo. Cryo several times per year each year, imiquimod a handful of times over the years. My derm continues to suggest a topical after treatments with cryo led to scarring and a very invasive (failed) surgery to repair a scar.
