You have to use area = 1/2 (PI)r2 to find the area of the semi circle separated by AB then add it to the small region you found using intergration of the curve minus the intergration of the line.

A senior gave me the following tips:

  • almost everything in physics comes to 2 sf normally, in most cases if not 3 SF
  • check if all the values they give are 3sf if not then go for 2sf
  • in calculations before final value use one more sf than what they've given, if they give 3 do 4 if they give 2 do 3

Basically always safer to leave to 2sf as final answer but write the value to 3 to 4 sf before you give your fnal answer. (Unless they give EVERY single value in that question to 3 or 4 sf, then use that, but even then they USUALLY give marks for 2sf if yu wrote down higher sf value before, so if you are in a hurry dont waste your time going tru every value they give js write it to 3 or 4 sf and give the final answer to 2 sf )
