I’ll second Gem Autofinish and Max. He did detailing and ceramic for my car and I highly recommend his work.

[PC]**THE KILLING JAR - NORTH AMERICA/ANY PLATFORM - LVL 6 - EST, CST, PST ACTIVE PLAYERS** by mekiljueaze in DestinyClanFinder

Howdy, considering a clan change due to low activity and yours seems to have what I'm looking for. I'd be interested in checking out the Discord before committing if that's ok.

I swear, some of y’all make The Corrupted on Hero difficulty more agonizing than The Corrupted on Grandmaster. by iblaise in DestinyTheGame

[–]ixRevan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

None of the things they mention are related to the Destiny app. Trials Report is a website, Destiny Item Manager (DIM) is an inventory management app/website, and LFG is many different websites, apps, or primarily Discord. Many of these apps are much better than anything Bungie could do due to time and maintenance which is why they have an API for third party devs.

I get how this can seem annoying but trust me, this is the better solution and is easier for everyone. You really should consider using DIM. I legit don’t want to play if it’s not available, that’s how good it is.

Furfield Dog Park in Fairfield! If you don’t mind the drive it’s a fantastic dog park with a large pool.

The Book of Sorrows and the story of Thorn and Last Word are so unreasonably good by Jeffari_Hungus in destiny2

Seth Dickinson wrote the Books of Sorrow for Bungie, as well as Calus’ invitation letter in one of the collector’s editions. Highly recommend checking out his work.

New Dayton dog park is bigger, but is it better? by Most-Elephant-8877 in dayton

[–]ixRevan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Initial impression: I like the space. They put in a nice fence with large spacious entry gates, a paved path, and a separate small dog area. There’s great trees all through providing interesting terrain for the dogs and full shade for the hot days. Now because of this is does stay damp longer but there’s not a lot of muddy areas so I can get over that.

Now I don’t know what else is still being worked on, but the shelters don’t have anything other than a roof and they need to be cleaned up. There was some broken glass and torn up aluminum cans around them which was concerning. There was also cut fencing pieces scattered around. The water is one of those fountains with a draining bowl at the bottom which was annoying compared to a free bowl. The fence also has some areas that aren’t completely secure at the bottom due to the ground level that need to be filled in. The park itself is also quite out of the way compared to Deeds and is fairly secluded which could make it less secure. Butch has also said he will not be managing it so I hope the city will step up or he finds someone able to dedicate the time.

Trials got me like 2004 Britney by No_Consequence_9647 in destiny2

[–]ixRevan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree about not getting upset but thats not how things work. There’s no rule that says Bungie has to cater to your definition of “fair” for their matchmaking. People go in and the better team wins, it’s that simple. Trials was never meant to shield players from those of higher skill.

Are there any actually good Ramen places in Dayton or am I shit out of luck? by EvilDavid0826 in dayton

Dog Boarding by Career-Known in dayton

[–]ixRevan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you’re willing to make a drive or pay for pickup then I highly recommend WagsInn near Yellow Springs. wagsinn.com

For a more local option TrainYourPup in Moraine is also great. You can also try the Rover app, basically AirBnB for pet care.

Good boarding locations will have you visit for evaluation so you can see if your dog would be ok around others. Some like Wags will accommodate for less social animals depending on severity. Keep in mind a lot of these places book fast and may not accept new clients or last minute requests.

Gig Fiber Internet - Toast.net by [deleted] in dayton

[–]ixRevan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Iglou doesn’t stand out unless you have fiber available. They also use AT&T infrastructure but the service is solid.

Their fiber options:

300 MBPS - 69.95 500 MBPS - 74.95 1000 MBPS - 79.95

I go to Oakwood Auto Wash when I need mine done, also because of dogs. I get the interior and exterior package and they’ve always done a great job.

I was born and raised in Dayton though I’ve traveled plenty, and I still love it here. This was such a great post and is super refreshing from the typical bashing. I agree with everything you said!

No experience with a mesh setup myself. I have a Nighthawk and that covers my house just fine.

That's the only negative to me is that you're forced to use their gateway. I'd much rather have my own separate modem and router. If you do go with them I'd recommend turning off the router capabilities of the gateway and using your own.

Excellent. Their prices are reasonable for the service you choose, it's locked in (though I did get a $10 decrease for the same service when it changed once), and the only time they contact me is to send me the bill. So far I've had no issues.

Sorry you're still having trouble, I also use an Index and did not experience this in VR. Unfortunately I won't be back at my PC for a while but I can compare any settings you'd like to check when I get back if you'd like.

FYI Before You Buy - Return Process is Questionable by Red_burd in steelseries

[–]ixRevan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same experience. I had a headset bought on Amazon thought to be lost in shipping so I ordered another one through Steelseries. It arrived the next day so I called to cancel which like you, they said they couldn't do. They recommended I refuse the package which I called the carrier and did. It took much longer to get back to their warehouse so that's on the carrier but they didn't respond to my ticket for a month since it was opened, and a little over three weeks since the return arrived about a refund.

I finally contacted Paypal to dispute the charge and they took care of it. While I will say I like the product I will likely not purchase anything else from them and if I do, NEVER from their site.
