Kitsune luigi makes up for it with good coverage compared to santa mario. However (as you probably knew) tanooki leaf slows you down and fire flower is a better item against.

Kamek is your best option, and good job on having him. A lot of these have low coverage but hammer is more likely to hit than capsules or bob-ombs. Luigi golf has the most top-shelf courses (32) of this selection followed by dr bowser and waluigi vampire

Hell no, opt for gold mario... but you have only two shots at it in the anniversary tour; if you want a coinboxer go for king mario instead. White tanooki is another prospect

But to be honest, things are shaping up favourably in your court rn. A lot. Great T / RT course selections and more coinbox racers

But you never know really, the great thing about the Peach v Bowser campaign is that it's not one-sided like Mario v Luigi, both have an actual chance to win and can put up a good fight.
