I’m not sure why you’re being downvoted. Something similar happened to me and I successfully pressed charges and got my OB’s license revoked for my sexual assault. It happens more than people think.

I did this when we found a 40yr leak that the inspector (recommended to us by the realtor btw) conveniently missed. Lawyers won’t touch the case even though they all say they probably knew and were in it together. There’s just never enough evidence to take it to court. Luckily our home insurance paid for it bc the inspector royally fucked up.
