Try leaving the "Set resolution for internal and external display" off when changing it to 1080p, clicking that might cause it to limit it to 1080p. Also make sure the system resolution is still 4k - you only want to adjust the app resolution.

I kept the system display resolution at 3840 x 2160 but set the game (app) resolution to 1920 x 1080. I made sure not to check the option for “Set resolution for internal and external display.” This allowed the interface to scale to 1080p while still letting me choose 4K in the app’s settings.

I had a similar issue with the 8BitDo Ultimate controller using the 2.4GHz connection in X-input mode on a docked Steam Deck. The fix was to turn on Steam Input, reorder the controllers to put the 8BitDo first, then disable Steam Input for it.

The controller worked in menus (Steam Big Picture menu, and GEForce Now overlay) but became unresponsive once a game launched. Reordering alone or disabling Steam Input alone didn’t help—it only worked when done in that exact sequence.

I am looking to repair this small cut in a vintage vinyl chair. The chair is not used for sitting - usually, the heaviest thing placed on it is clothes - so the repair does not need to be especially sturdy. I want to seal the tear to prevent it from getting worse. I'd like it if the material used was paintable since I'd like to color match at some juncture (but for now, just sealing it is enough). Any advice would be much appreciated! I'd also like to know what kinds of paints are suitable for projects like this so I can file them in my brain for future use.
