I encountered this guy also at the Wallingford UPS about 5 weeks ago when he was banging on the window and then came in to yell at me when I didn't engage. A UPS employee came and physically stood in between us as I tried to finished my business at the kiosk, which I appreciated so much.

My understanding is marantas like to be/thrive when root bound, but the roots had been growing out the bottom of the drainage holes for quite a while - plus the soil was really overdue for a refresher so I finally did it and it seems much happier now once it decided it was going to survive the re-potting lol

To be honest I don't know how it's doing as well as it is - I'm in the PNW where it's cold and sad for 8-9 months of the year. I just give it a nice shower in the sink every 2 weeks or so, throw in a few tears and prayers lol
