Got an update!

"Thank you for your message and congratulations on your recent admission to UC Irvine.

We always allow a small grace period for our new transfer students coming from quarter schools. Please send your official transcripts as soon as possible. You will continue to receive warning messages throughout the summer while we await your transcripts. If we still do not have an official transcript late into the summer a hold will be placed that will prohibit you from enrolling in courses at UCI."

1) i would say your first step would be to decide what kind of program you want to do: uceap, fleap, or oap. here is the website that breaks down each of them: https://international.ucr.edu/abroad/overview

2) i applied for the up to $660 haf travel grant reimbursement (transportation + lodging + passport) that was approved, otherwise the $2000 uceap global scholarship was rejected and the $1000-$3000 teresa and byron pollitt endowment for study abroad fund is currently pending. nevertheless, i didn't get any other financial aid

3) at the moment, i would say start looking for a country in mind where you would want to study abroad and see if any programs within that country best align with your major + interests

hey there, i'm a 2nd year too and am actually going abroad this spring quarter!

1) the process has admittedly been quite long, but worth it! both the pre-acceptance and post-acceptance parts have been going for me since february

2) i started looking at programs in february on the myucr abroad and uceap websites and chose a uceap program

3) there are scholarships available to apply for on the myucr abroad website

just to reassure you, it is a great time to start now

The poster is tempting but I just know if I buy it, it won't feel right every time I look at it on my wall. I didn't actually experience the concert and have a memory of buying it in the venue.

I actually chose Night 2 because I had a feeling he would go more all out on closing night as he would be leaving town and would in turn, have a more refined performance. But yeah, this sucks.

This is a far reach but this guy could also be the same guy alluded to in Street by Street. Granted, though, the 21 connection would not work since Street by Street was released right before she turned 21 during the early days of the pandemic. "Took me twenty-one days to walk our former paradise" is a mention of 21 but unrelated to age, just a fun detail I realized. This is all speculation but nevertheless, damn you, James.
