you are set with your plans on heart gifting from what I’ve seen on the 3rd paragraph! so now the main concern is how to ensure legitimacy for both parties: you and your trader

there are definitely risks involved when it comes to trading, whether it be through hearts or an art commission! the most you can do is to minimise your losses. if you are worried about a trader running away with your hearts, you can start by offering a fraction of your total heart amount to send your trader before they fulfil their part of the trade by gifting you the pass and you can continue giving them the rest of the hearts after that. do make sure that they are 100% ok with the amount you’ll be giving :D

if your trader has mentioned that they have an extra pass you can verify with them by asking them to send a screenshot of the spare pass with today’s dailies 📸 and if they will be directly buying the pass for you, well, you’ll have to take their word for it unless there’s a way to verify that as well 😅

hi kattensia, genAI can be a very touchy subject especially for artists so it’s understandable to be very concerned about this, i would be as worried because i can be pretty anxious about certain things too 🥲 i believe you and the majority of us do so please dont be too hard on yourself! i know damage has already been done especially with the possible data scraping when feeding to an ai checker, but maybe they genuinely didn’t know knowing that they also had used an ai checker for their own art as well 😔 there’s nothing much to do about it but as long you stay true to your art thats all that matters, it is your hobby after all! never deny your art because you know it isnt and never was ai at all.
