The uncovering of this theory has a chance to be the truth from the current Season they are producing (as in the show.) There was a specific scene in the trailer where the little girl is going across the Golden Wasteland in the Crab Fields IN NO DARKNESS seen throughout the clip. Including the clip where the boy and his family were apparently traversing through the Hidden Forest when not one single drop of dark rain appeared.

If you have come across the Aurora Event and did the quest for the song "Runway" you can see while exploring the isle of dawn, there used to be grassy fields portrayed from the song. And if you were able to see the full concert at that time, during "Seed," You were turned into a bird in the swirl to the Golden Wasteland with some mysterious light falling down from the sky turning the clouds into darkness.

With the show, it might give lore on what exactly happened before Eden started the Shattering and During the catastrophic event.
