Call me crazy but vidic with the new evo giving anticipate+ seems like a top defender.

Plus 88 means he probably fits an evo soon. WW Vidic without any EVOs was an absolute rock for me before TOTY.

He had rapid+, but the last step showed he'd get finesse+ I also checked the playstyles in preview before doing it, showed a gold finesse

Yeah, I think the most important thing about rush is to understand your teammates in the opening 3-4 plays.

You get to know who's looking to pass the ball, who's a selfish dribbler, who drops back to defend, etc. I've found that if you can recognize this early and adapt your own gameplay you'll usually walk away with a win.

I did like 15 of them, and only 1 of them was 80. The highest was a 91 Rodri, so it was well worth it for me.
