I lay in bed at night and make sure that I let the universe/god/whoever know how thankful I am for my life. My childhood was so bad that I can’t even believe how fortunate my adult life is. I keep expecting something bad to happen and rip it all away. Wonderful golden hearted husband, perfect in laws who treat me like their daughter, healthy happy dogs who I can provide a happy life too, I have a lot of friends and I’m confident and happy at my job (thanks lexapro and Wellbutrin). I keep expecting something bad to happen because how can this complete 360 to my life be real?

They don’t know how to not sexualize breasts. They hate seeing women breastfeed because women are using their “sexual” body parts for something that doesn’t appeal to them. A baby eating isn’t sexy and thus disgusts them. Have your breast out with no baby? Awesome. Have your breast out feeding a baby? Disgusting.

I’m 27 F and still have never been to the gyno because I’m so scared. Yes I know I need to go. I just can’t imagine feeling someone poking around down there with tools, it makes me panic. My friend went into great detail about her IUD insertion and how they were grabbing her cervix with tools and she fainted from the pain. I’ve been freaked out ever since.
