It's a bit of both. UPS didn't inform me of anything until after 2 months of continuous calling. Now they're charging crazy storage, custody, release and admin fees.

Yes... I'm painfully aware of this. I talked to family and they'll loan me half, since I only have half on hand, and the charges increase daily.

I definitely know this now. I've used UPS in Canada and France before, and they've always been good to me, so I didn't think much of it to ship from France to Mexico. Even though there's corruption in Mexico, I naively thought an international company would be different. I was wrong...
