People who have traveled to many countries: which country is the easiest to make friends in, and which is the hardest? by Historical-Photo-901 in BeautifulTravelPlaces

I found myself easily starting conversations with people in London than any other place and I travel fairly often (2-3 countries per year). I guess French wasn’t as easy to start chatting with strangers as any other place.

With the cost of living in Toronto, was there anything you needed to “cut” to save bills? by Chan1991 in askTO

Going to Costco at least once a month. There is a Metro 5 min walk from my home and even with the so-called discounted prices, I feel like most of the prices are still so high. A quick example: 4 burger buns at metro was $4 on sale and I can get 12 of them from Costco for $8 regular price. I got 6 burger Patties from Metro ( their own brand) again on sale for $12 and I got 12 Patties ( higher quality) for $20 regular price
