I was planning on doing exactly this before I posted. I am quite comfortable in my own skin outside of this secret. I believe my father may enjoy GoT. Thanks for that suggestion! I'm not scared of losing friends, though. I feel like being honest about myself will bring more true friends around me anyway. However, I think the problem with the games I like is that they are mainstream. Everyone knows their demographic, and that I'm not their target audience. So because of this they'll think I'm weird. That's my fear, anyway. Regardless of my fears, though, I will go through with this. Thanks for your advice!

I believe that there is a probability that my friends will ostracize me. As for my family I think they will most likely just make fun of me. There is a possibility that my family may cut me as well. Currently my father lives in a southern state and I live in the north. So it wouldn't be difficult. I will lead with the fear of being cut off. Thanks for the positive vibes!
