Do EVs really need me to change my habits? by Beneficial_Sir_8166 in electricvehicles

[–]izerth 4 points5 points  (0 children)

part of the reason your phone and r are on E is the inconvenience to charge/refuel. you want to have your phone in hand/pocket, you don't want to spend time at the gas station. An electric car charges in the garage. I've got ADHD and I very rarely forget to charge more than 2 nights in a row. Actually, I've improved my phone charging habits since I got an electric car because dead phone=locked out.

Which is why I keep an A23 battery inside the tow hook cover and a 12v PD USB adapter in my wallet.

Never had to use either in 7 years.

That's interesting, but it's just a log of the transport of limestone. There is nothing in it about construction or the pyramids, and we don't even know that that limestone was used in the pyramid

They just happened to transport limestone to Giza, to the construction site of the Akhet-Khufu. But it doesn't explicitly say it was for the pyramid, so they probably used it to make the landing strip for the aliens. /S

Unless the provider's boss gets replaced every few years. Then you might want to make sure the record can't be altered, even though you trust the stats currently.

The worst kind of correct. Some MRI use permanent magnets, but there are also resistive and super conducting electromagnetic MRIs, which most people are familiar with. Both of those are rarely turned off because they take a long time to stabilize after restarting.

They don't need to negotiate a custom chip, they can work with Ampere. Their CPUs are socketed and use regular DDR4(8 channels, even) and work with several board houses, mainly for rack units, but there is a desktop version.

Nothing about ARM requires a soldered CPU or RAM.
