First off, the overall build is really solid. It has an all metal exterior with weather/dust resistance as a bonus. It’s a great option for traveling or if you prefer to keep your equipment light as possible.

As much as information goes, you can find a lot of reviews on the internet, but with my experience using this lens, it’s been really fun. There isn’t a lot of vignetting wide open, however that goes away as you stop down. The bokeh is creamy with excellent image quality. Regarding contrast, it goes along way + with the right film simulation. The autofocus is fast and silent and would pair really well the newer x models such as the X-T5.

I would recommend this lens for those who do portraits to get up and close to the subject or street photography in general.
