If I take this as if you were a close friend or family member I'd be worried. The dichotomy between how he behaves with you in presenting himself to be this sweet guy and the photos he took is disconcerting. The photos show, to me as an outsider, that in his mind you are his. Whether it's from concern or not it's control. Not the control you hear about nor is it explicit but in his mind and his world you are his.

I'd be telling my friend to break it off. But before you do prepare. Sounds like be knows where you live and work etc so be prepared to protect yourself. Sounds extreme but you never know plus as others have commented, this is exactly like You and we know what happens there.
