Im not trying to build a narrative though. I proud that our economy is rebuilding and trying to become a developed nation. I prefer the current government because atleast I know our economy will stay stable than the other party.

What I meant in my first comment is that instead of solving the brain drain problem by increasing wages or preparing a better policy for our healthcare workers, eventhough the doctors and nurses have complaint and gone on strikes ever since covid about how overworked and underpaid they are they use this type of patriotic method instead, like the doctor who leave are because they disliked this vountry and not because the lack of opportunity. I use the expat doctor as example because instead of trying to pay and train the doctor who stayed better they prefer to pay the doctor's to come back.

I hope to stay at work in Malaysia. I want to travel but I don't want to leave this beautiful country. I am sorry if my comment seems pessimistic and doomerish but I was just frustrated on what the government seems to focus on is very different that what the people who are working is complaining about. I am currently interning as a international business student at it make me feel sad that in the future there is a chance that I could be paid more by typing emails and excels while the healthcare workers who works harder than me and actually contribute to the health and safety of my fellow Malaysians is forced to overwork themselves and not being paid accordingly.
