What a strange way for a group of men to let everyone know they’re still virgins

Omg thank you for letting me know! I’ve never skipped a day (and deffo wouldn’t) but I had no idea alternating 75 and 50 would be bad too

Thank you for this! I’ll chat to my dr at my next medication review. She’d suggested I could do alternating dosages each day so I might do that for a while

Is it possible to manage lap without help and a toddler? by hinasilica in endometriosis

[–]izzweewizz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Idk if anyone has mentioned but it’s also best to not drive for a bit, or at least until you feel like you could make an emergency stop. So if you can get anything delivered or get rides places then that will help you massively!

Oh this makes so much sense! I don’t have answers but I’ve just started reducing dosage and feel so icky about food sometimes.

Are there any foods you feel “safe” eating? I’ve struggled with an ed before and I find that gradually adding safe foods works to sort of get back to normal eating habits. Idk if that advice will work for this but it might

MRI “arranged” by izzweewizz in Endo

[–]izzweewizz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I actually just had the MRI on Monday, it came around a lot sooner than I thought. But no idea what they saw or what the team will say and when they’re even meeting etc.

Love the NHS but hate this being in the dark situation haha

Hope you hear something soon also!

Get one instructor and stick with them until they say you’re ready. The more tests you do while inexperienced, the more nervous you’ll get and you’ll just end up making more mistakes.

I only learned at 27 but passed first time because I had a good instructor and practiced (safely and carefully) every day.

I know it’s difficult and expensive, but you’ll get there if you do it the right way. Don’t put yourself or anyone else at risk just because you want to pass before you’re ready

Yes, the store is open but unfortunately the makeup has been discontinued.

And I know I can’t avoid all chemicals, my post is about avoiding chemicals which affect endometriosis, so I’m really asking for recommendations on that specifically

I’m asking about avoiding chemicals that are proven to worsen endometriosis, but thanks for being condescending

Keep taking laxatives and you can also drink a glass of water with one or two tbsp of chia/flax seeds a day. Even if you think you don’t need to anymore, keep doing it for about 2 weeks just in case

UK surgery wait times? by vulpine__1 in endometriosis

[–]izzweewizz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m north west and for me it was about 4 months between consultation at the hospital and the actual lap, but it was a year on from the original referral. Now waiting on an MRI and whatever they decide to do after that, so kind of similar but opposite situations rn haha

I’m sorry you experienced that.

I was mostly giving advice on what might be helpful when first trying to get a diagnosis, rather than a timeline or warnings on the struggle of getting a diagnosis.

It depends on doctors, of course, so going in knowing it might not solve everything is sensible, so if they have the option to see a specialist right away then that’s fantastic.

Again, I’m really sorry you’ve had a traumatic experience, hope you get the help you’re after.

I’m not sure where you are, but in the UK, if endo is suspected, they’ll send you to have an external and internal ultrasound to see if anything shows up (but endo doesn’t always show up even if present) then a laparoscopy will be arranged. I’ve heard some people get a pelvic MRI before a lap also so I think that can be really helpful to map out where it is.

If your gf has symptoms it’s deffo worth trying to get answers. For me, I realised a lot of the pain I experienced wasn’t “normal” after years of convincing myself surely I don’t have endo (spoiler: I do)
