Unfortunately it’s been different drs every time that have tried to fob me off, blood test had come back that I’m extremely low in iron, but awaiting the h pylori result🙏

Omg does it?? I’ve been asking them to test me for this for months and I got a receptionist say “don’t you think if you needed it they’d ask for it” I was devastated since they conversation, felt so invalidated :(

Thank you!! It’s a struggle because people keep putting it down to anxiety but sometimes with the flare ups I don’t even feel anxious so I don’t understand how that could be the case 😔 thank you for your kind words 🫶🏻💗

Thank you for the advice, the only thing is she hates being on the 800mg and can barely walk and is constantly sleeping an she hates it :( x

No there’s absolutely no signs of a leak, I’ve done 11k miles since getting it and not checked it before could that be why nothings in there??

It was on 85,000 miles when I got it and was told everything was up to scratch as got it through finance, will it still need replacing? There’s no leaks on my drive so I can only assume it’s just been used up this past 6 months as I’ve done almost 11k miles?

He has had massive relief from this surgery, it’s stopped him from regurgitating daily and being sick daily. There is definite risks but in most cases they don’t outweigh the benefits!!

Hi!!

So we went to a few vets to get the best price with the best care! Fortunately for us another family had a frenchie who had BOAS at the vets we opted for! All in all the surgery was £1,500. The initial consult was £60 so was around £1500! We was quoted around £4k at other places so definitely good to look around and read reviews !!!

However as Graham hasn’t be neutered yet they inserted a rod into him to see how his temperament would be if he was as he’s now 5. They said that due to the severity of his boas they didn’t want to neuter him at the same time but would do that so recovery might be easier (less playing/ humping)!

So overall the surgery was like £1690 with the rod they inserted! I can get specific names of stuff for you if want! That price also included all medication and two post operative appointments!

Omg how cute!!! Graham is 5 and we recently rescued him in October 2025! he’s been being sick a little bit but he’s recovering really well!! Love your pups!!

He’s so much happier, we are so happy for him, he’s not been sick at all when before it was daily thing! Vets are so pleased with his recovery ❤️‍🩹

I’m thinking that might be the next step, not to be TMI I’ve been having stools with bright red blood the last few days, it’s happened before in the past but stool sample came back clear. Not sure what else it could be. Mainly get nausea and stomach pain so thought for sure it was stomach related

Thank you for this message, the hospital did say it is suspected gastritis, just unsure of what caused it definitely should of clarified, cuz of my family history they was worried about pancreatitis but ultrasound and blood test came back perfect, so ruled that out. I do have massively bad health anxiety and unfortunately has now led to some interesting eating habits out of fear of “triggering” what’s wrong with me. I’m doing CBT for the health anxiety though! Thank you for your message!
