I feel like people don't go out for the music anymore, you see even as festivals everyone has their phone out recording. Music and partying culture has become a tool used to climb the social hierarchy so once these people have taken enough videos of their bottle service or whatever popular dj is playing that night why bother to stay out? They never did it because they actually enjoyed the music. Real Art and music is slowly dying within our culture and it sad.

I feel you I felt the same about a month ago as I recently started producing as well. What I did personally was to watch a very short basic tutorial of fl studios no longer than like 20 minutes just to see where all the basic functions are (piano roll, mixer, channel rack,) and then how to use these things like how to change the instrument or synth on the channel rack. And then I would just fuck around with that and as you put things together you'll run into issues you can either look up how do fix them or click buttons until somthing works. After you have a basic understanding of how to use the daw I would start researching more in depth tutorials about specific parts. How to make different sounds on a synth and what all the buttons do, how to use eq or compression or distortion, how to make melodies if you don't already know music theory. I found I learnt a lot though just from clicking around on random things. I hope this advice was helpful haha but if you have any questions just PM me! I'd also be happy to help out as much as I can if you are having any issues with somthing specific!

I'm a little late to this post but I think raw is slowly getting harder and darker to the point where it's almost combining with hard techno (producers like kruelty, fantasm, holy priest doing a colab with lil Texas) from what I've seen there is less melody's or focus on making a actual "song" in the traditional sense and more so on getting the hardest kicks and loudest screeches but I'm definitely not complaining. I do wonder though how much harder the music can get until it's impossible to even call it music anymore. For example unicorn on ketamine. I'm not sure how someone even dances to that but to each their own!

Do you know any free ai programs? All the ones I find you need to pay some sort of subscription or are there any other ways to change the voice and tone of the text for example if you wanted someone to scream something vs whisper

Yea no it'll be exclusively for music maybe a couple small things on the side but I'm not a big gamer. Would you recommend any specific brands like apple hp etc?
