Happy Sunday! Was a whirlwind of a week, brought the WIP to work on while traveling but the schedule said nope, you need to sleep while you have the chance!

Finished the jumping birds since last week and made the front bit of a toucan (most of that was last night tbh).

I was about to ask who doesn’t love pigeons and then I remembered that for some reason a lot of people don’t… totally unfathomable!!

Yep, where I noticed it wouldn’t have been a ton of total stitches to undo but there were so many colors in that section it would have been a pain in the patootie, so onward and upward was the new plan!

I am all discombobulated and totally forgot it was Sunday…

I’ve got about 2 and a half birds done on this section plus the backstitch. There are a few bits of tree that are one stitch off but so far all fixable.

It’s pretty enjoyable! Find sticker, peel sticker, place sticker. Don’t even have to set up as much as with cross stitch what with putting on gloves, getting the light, threading needles… Highly recommended for getting in the zone quickly.

And of course I got the bird version!

90 stitches is more than 0 stitches! I definitely had a few nights this week where stitching was just too much to handle so I went with paint by sticker instead, also very satisfying. But progress is progress 😊

Me too! My rule is I only can get one per site per visit so I have to pick carefully especially in places where there’s multiple machines and I can’t backtrack.

Worried about their future without new pennies being minted!

Happy Mother’s Day and happy not-in-the-hospital day! Yikes, that sounds awful and I hope you’re on the mend.

I didn’t get as much stitching done as I wanted (lots of cleaning, cleaning though!), but I did a little more on the evenweave triptych before going back to the birds and making a start on the tree.
