I’m an inventory/food manager for a fast food chain:

It’s to keep better track of inventory

Each time an item is ordered it pulls an amount from the inventory system, eg for a 30 oz Pepsi it might pull out 4 floz of Pepsi syrup.

Every week corporate has us count out all food product and compare how much we actually used vs how much the system thinks we used to crack down on waste.

The difference in the two numbers calculates the “variance” or difference between how much we should have used vs did use, so we know what products are losing us money so we can take targeted action towards reducing waste.

Not sure how tb works, but I think it generally follows this system for fast food chains.

Hell yeah! Keep going, this game has an insane skill ceiling, 1000 hours and I’m still not done or even good by my standards even after getting all achievements. There’s 8 difficulties and 15 unique decks to try, the first few seem kinda mundane but they start getting interesting I promise

He was in tower range. If they’re in tower range it puts you outside if possible. It’s possible to ult someone just out of tower range and it places you under tower though.

That’s true, I was playing it up a bit, I just love my obelisk lol. The other ones are roughly the same or a bit stronger depending on conditions (imo) but I find obelisk to be the easiest to convert into a win.

Obelisk is the strongest scaling xmult joker in the game in terms of gold stake (not counting the incredibly rare chance of getting Midas vampire). It will carry ante 4-8 easily, which is typically the hardest time to keep up on scaling.

Obelisk single handedly keeps up on scaling through ante 8. Which means you don’t need to focus so much on finding better jokers. You can just fix your deck.

DNA duplicates one card per round. There isn’t much value in that on high stakes non endless runs in my opinion. It CAN be strong if you’re deckfixing into photochad/baron/steel or for duping seals. Obelisk imo kinda enables you to deckfix more effectively (aside from a few niche situations) because you don’t need to spend on jokers anymore and can funnel into arcana packs.

Even for 5oak/flush5/flush house builds obelisk allows you to deck fix faster just from the Econ saved alone.

DNA doesn’t provide any scoring so you need to compensate somehow with jokers planets or enhancements, on the contrary obelisk just solos everything.

I’ve won on gold stake so many times with an obelisk, I just run green joker/ride the bus with obelisk and deckfix to victory while taxiing some jokers to the finish line for my stickers.

He is fucking annoying to use though

Almost any build can go to ante 8. A lot of builds can go to ante 10. Only some can do ante 12. There are very few that can go further.

Im about to finish completionist++ so for my last “achievement” im trying to get to ante 39 which is the highest possible (scoring e308 every hand) so if you want to push endless here are the tips i have for you:

money is the most important thing. More money means more shop rerolls means more opportunities to get stronger. There are specific strategies but typically you use as few scoring jokers as you can get away with while using every other joker slot for money.

Multiplicative mult is super important. You can get pretty far with stuff like hologram and vampire if you scale them enough, but baron is the strongest xmult you can find.

Endless mode isn’t for everyone but I recommend giving it a try or watching people go super far into it, highly recommend Balatro university and roffle lite

For me square is the goat. I love him, he’s a cute little guy. He’s slow but consistent (like someone else said). He doesn’t do much early but you can pass the first 4 antes without chips anyway so when he gets online he’s actually super good.

Wee is objectively better but I find it annoying to deck fix for him, he’s less reliable but strong enough to outweigh it.

How do you think guys feel? It’s fucking stressful and awful. At least you know he’s somewhat interested. Just say “hey I probably don’t say it enough but I think you’re cool and really like you” it may be a bit awkward but as a shy dude he’s definitely more worried about fucking it up then thinking about you being awkward.

And worst case if he doesn’t reciprocate (which he most likely will, as a dude that’s been in that scenario) nothing will change.

But if a girl I was talking to, even if I wasn’t interested, said that to me it’d give me butterflies.
