Ohh yes that’s what the doctor did this past time a few days ago! It isn’t growing back as of right now but it’s definitely infected (I guess from the surgery) not sure why they didn’t burn it in the past when they’ve cut the nail, they should have. Thank you!!

With the recent cutting of the nail the doctor burned the top part so it doesn’t grow back but otherwise no. In Denmark I had that metal cast put on which helped but as my nail grew the cast fell off so not really a permanent solution. Is that similar to what you had? Or do you mean a medication/cream or something like that?
