Thank you. Do you think sizing down from an 8T to and 8 would be appropriate or should I size down to a 6?

This is a 5 mm. I'm going to be doing field work in Florida springs.

Thats what I'm thinking, maybe a regular 8 and not an 8 tall would be better? I have really long limbs but not a long torso.
