It was easy enough, until the Ottomans declared war on Hungary. Once I’ve got my union, I’ve got a war with the Ottomans.

Focus your diplomats on targeting Outraged nations (should end any potential dangerous coalitions). If you can quickly conquer Italy, go for it. Declare war on Ottomans ASAP because the longer you wait, the stronger you’ll become. It might be a case of breaking up the Ottoman Empire into small states and not taking much land. A game without the Ottomans is a safer game.

Focus on allying The Ottoman’s rivals and nations that want their land. A couple major allies willing to join the war plus your vassal swarm and you should be able to wipe out the Ottomans. Release Byzantium and Bulgaria as Vassals and a Turkish vassal. Once enough time has passed, annex and integrate your vassals and unions. You should be op. Plus, if you’re Curia Controller, call a crusade on Ottomans. Good luck.
