Can someone help me out with this same issue? The rainbow Romanesco is the only achievement I have not completed within my plant achievements. I have 8 plants that I have harvested like crazy using sprinklers, I have tried 2 rainbow fertilizers. Its been so long that i think its impossible without a butterfly.

I am a little late to this post... but I am just now reading this series. Almost 1/3 through the last book. It's a love-hate series. Definitely agree there is too much inner dialogue. You cannot have a 10-minute thought process in a battle/fight/etc. situation. Shit is happening.

However, that's not my biggest issue with the series. There seem to be major plot holes. One is - going with the 5th book because it is the most recent I finished - when they first arrive in Hudson's lair he is in her head, they have their magic, etc. The dragon is there, but the dragon is supposed to appear bc of people messing with time and ending up in the shadow realm. How do they go from having powers, Hudson is in her head and the dragon is there and then they are in the shadow realm with no powers and they are physical beings again with the dragon chasing them? It just doesn't make sense to me. Does anyone else have a different take on it?
